Cataloging & Conservation of Nauvoo Temple Artifacts, Nauvoo, Illinois (2004)

Small porcelain doll from archaeological excavations. Note painted hair and eyes, the arms would have been separate and attached by wires at the shoulder so that they would have been movable, but are now missing. This doll was recovered from a large bag of other mixed artifacts, including metal fragments and other materials damaging to such a delicate artifact.
