The MHSF established a permanent historical exhibit in
the Steamboat Arabia Museum in Kansas City, Missouri. The exhibit includes photographs
historical interpretive information, and a 12 minute orientation film documentary, "Journey to Zion."
The exhibit highlights Mormon transmigration on the Missouri River, providing information
about the Latter-day Saints who traveled on the Missouri en route to Utah to gather with
the main body of the Saints. Fred E. Woods, executive director of the Foundation coordinated
the project with Greg Hawley, co-owner of the museum.
