Kim R. Wilson

Kim R. Wilson, one of the founding trustees of the Mormon Historic Sites Foundation, is the current chairman of the board.

Kim was born in Logan, Utah, but raised in Preston, Idaho.

Following a two year mission to Canada (Ontario and Quebec), Kim graduated from the University of Utah in 1970 with a B. S. in Political Science and in 1973 a Juris Doctor. He is an attorney with the Salt Lake law firm of Snow, Christensen & Martineau. A member of the Utah State Bar Association, Kim has served his profession by accepting an appointment by the Supreme Court as Chairman of the Ethics and Discipline Committee with the responsibility for enforcement of the Rules of Professional Conduct for Utah’s 8,000 lawyers.

In the Church, Kim has served as a university branch president, bishop’s counselor, and in various ward and stake callings.

He enjoys spending time with his wife Vicky and their four children, particularly at the family ranch in Cove, Utah. He also enjoys model ship building, travel and reading.

Kim has given countless hours in devoted service to the Foundation. The Board is grateful for his dynamic leadership and genuine interest and desire in helping to develop and preserve historic sites sacred to the memory of the Latter-day Saints.
