Richard N.W. Lambert
Richard N.W. Lambert, trustee and vice chairman of the
Mormon Historic Sites Foundation, was born in San Francisco, California and grew
up in the Bay area. He served in the British Mission. Richard graduated from
Brigham Young University and the University of Michigan Law School. Following
graduation from law school Richard served as a Deputy District Attorney before being
appointed an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Utah in 1981.
He is currently serving as the Chief of the Criminal Division.
Richard has a long standing interest in LDS Church History.
He regularly volunteers as a Church History tour guide. He serves as vice-president
of the Wilford Woodruff Family Association. Active in The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, he has served in numerous positions.
Richard is married to the former Mary Hayward and they are the
parents of six children.
