Larry King
Larry King, was a commercial banker in Utah and California for thirty-four years. Before retiring from Key Bank of Utah he was a member of the Senior Management Committee. Following his banking career, he and his wife, Alene, were for seven years the Executive Directors of the Mormon History Association.
Larry was raised in Garland and Provo, Utah and graduated in 1964 from the Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in history. Further education included graduating from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
He pursued his interest in economics as a banker, and his interest in history has caused him to follow an avocation in LDS Church and family history, publishing several books on his family history. He and Alene live in Orem, Utah and he is the proud father of six children. His greatest sense of satisfaction comes from knowing, understanding, and appreciating the message of the past in order to see the hope of the future.
