Matthew Kennedy
Matthew Kennedy moved to Utah from Mesa Arizona where he was raised in a large family. He attended Brigham Young University after completing a mission to Sendai Japan in 1992.
He spent several years building and operating a Japanese Export company he founded. In the late nineties, after turning over his Japanese business to new owners Matthew launched a new company LDS Living. Matthew and his wife Dena have three sons, Jacob, Aaron, and John.
The Kennedys enjoy working in and around Church history projects and spend many vacations with their children visiting different historic places. Before coming to MHSF Matthew served as a trustee for the Latter-day Foundation for the Arts.
In addition to his role at LDS Living Matthew serves as President of Legacy Reserve, Inc. which owns and preserves over a dozen Church History sites, including the Joseph Knight Sr. farm, Josiah Stowell Farm, The Oliver Cowdery School House, the historic Tomlinson Inn, and the Joseph Smith Sweet farm in Sharon, Vermont.
